Heads up ~ no coupon matchups for a while

My partner in crime, Jennifer, had her baby last Friday~YAY! Bad news is we won’t have HT or FL matchups for a few weeks.
I”m also on vacation for the next two weeks and during that time I’ll be wheeling and dealing for a new vehicle. I haven’t done that ever in my life so it’s causing me a lot of stress. I can coupon til the cows come home, but hate bargaining for a car. Wish me luck!

hi Frances,
Some of the same coupon rules apply for buying a car. Know your prices and how much you are willing to pay. Don’t be brand loyal (ok, be a little brand loyal; you probably want a car that will last more than a few years). Walk away if it isn’t a good deal.
If you are willing to pay cash, write a check out for what you are willing to pay and, after haggling, show it to the salesperson. Again, be willing to walk away.
If you want me to come haggle a car for you, I will.
